We have been using BroadSign since 2008 and our overall impression is that their suite is like a DOOH swiss knife. Every challenge presented by a client, big or small, has been met without major complications.
BroadSign’s sales and support teams have always been there to help when need it. The communication has always been fluid and efficient.
Pros
The BroadSign suite offers a range of solutions that will fulfill any DOOH requirement. Our network includes LCD screens, videowalls, wayfinding solutions and large format LED displays, all of them managed easily using BroadSign.
With BroadSign Core we are able to easily schedule any campaign (static, video or dynamic content) and monitor our network in real time. The application has a wide range of settings that properly configured provide immediate feedback regarding our network’s health allowing us to quickly address potential issues before they even happen. This feature has had a great impact on our business ensuring the maximum up time for our screens.
BroadSign Creator and BroadSign Publish provide our clients the option to manage their own content seamlessly by means of a personalized web site allowing them to make content changes on-the-fly.
Recently we have started using SSP, BroadSign’s programmatic sales platform and we are absolutely sure enrolling on this platform will provide our company a new source of revenue without the need of additional investments in our network.
BroadSign’s support team has always a very quick response time addressing technical questions, even actively offering advice on how to approach difficult scenarios.
BroadSign is constantly updating and improving their products based on the client’s requests providing periodical webinars to inform of new features.
Cons
Being such a powerful application BroadSign Core has an early steep learning curve. Mastering all the available functionalities takes quite a while but once you get to that point the possibilities are endless. To the date we have not encountered a single customer request (and some were quite complex) that we have not been able to address using BroadSign. We highly recommend formal training from a BroadSign expert before rolling out into production.
BroadSign Core is not available for smartphones (iOS or Android) which surely would be a great addition to the suite while being out of the office.

on the application side of things it is a robust software that works as expected!
Pros
The possibility to use it in lots of different ways and meet your business requirements.
Cons
Lots of windows open for doing one thing that you need to close them afterword. also SSO is not exactly this since it keeps loging you out and in to the requested domain. SSO should be smoother.
Some times it gets to complicated to make something work, like the touch trigger.
