StaffCircle is a mobile first, multi-channel employee engagement and communications platform which helps organizations engage and communicate with both hard to reach non-desk-based and office-based employees. Users are provided with a progressive web app branded to the business, which can be accessed by smartphone, tablet or PC via any common web browser.
StaffCircle’s interconnecting features help streamline the organization and create a consistent and universal communication experience for the workforce. The platform’s mobile intranet features help users enhance work culture by sharing information and feedback through rich content such as articles, alerts, awards, promotions and training over the live information feed. A built-in template editor allows for personalized multi-channel messaging, and users can segment staff into groups to send quick 2-way messages to teams via SMS, in-app, or email. Web and mobile-enabled time tools help streamline overtime, sickness, and holiday management with automated logging and manager authorization controls.
StaffCircle also offers a people directory with skills search functionality to help users locate workers, as well as the ability to search files and folders to access relevant HR information. The employee timeline gives a complete view of engagement and activity, and tools for skills management allow users to allocate skills to employees, and log those gained from completing training or achieving objectives. Performance management features allow users to visualize team objectives and review performance of desk and non-desk based workers through analytics, and includes a built-in reward system for financial incentives.
StaffCircle digitalizes tasks and worksheets to help systemize processes and visualize progress in real time. Users can build digital worksheets using the drag-and-drop builder and view task statuses across the organization through powerful analytics, helping to identify trouble areas. StaffCircle also enables the digital signing of worksheets via any device, and completed worksheets can be downloaded as CSV files, PDFs or streamed into external platforms via integration aggregators like Zapier and Microsoft Flow.

Pros
I used StaffCircle in my previous role and the company used the solution to communicate with our non-desk employees, to record and track holidays, run reports on compliancy (for example risk assessments, work permits etc.) and also for our performance management.
It has been great because we didn’t have to change our current annual appraisals, instead, we were able to align One2One reviews/check-ins with it. This means a more continuous approach to performance management which helps us see what is going well and what we need to improve.
Cons
Nothing to note. I know from working with the champion there was the initial set up for your risk assessments, but once that’s done compliancy and trackability are very easy.

Really like the system overall and feel that it is really useful for keeping up to date. I also like how everything is under the same platform so only have to use one log -in.
Pros
I like the appearance of the system and that it is similar to a social media profile with a news feed and notifications. I really like how easy it is to keep up with internal communications from around the business and that you get a notification email for new content.
Cons
The performance review section could be easier to use from an employee point of view - its not always clear where you need to respond/save comments.

My overall experience with StaffCircle has been positive, with the platform offering valuable tools for managers. The seamless integration of goal-setting features has been a game-changer, providing clarity and structure to our team's objectives. While the interface could be more intuitive, once accustomed to it, the platform proves effective in streamlining processes.
Pros
What stood out for me with StaffCircle is how it makes managing direct report's annual goals a breeze! The way it smoothly integrates goal-setting into the HR routine (weekly/bi-weekly reviews) is very efficient especially given the templates for review meetings. It's like having a handy tool that helps you keep track of everything in one place.
Cons
While I found many great features in StaffCircle, I have to admit that the interface could use some improvement. Navigating through the platform wasn't always as intuitive as I would have liked. There were moments when finding specific functions or customizing settings felt a bit clunky and took more time than expected. A more user-friendly interface would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience, making it easier for users to navigate and maximize the tool's potential without any hiccups.
