WorkMarket, an ADP company, is a management solution for onboarding, managing, organizing, and paying vendors, contractors, and freelancers. The platform allows businesses to track and manage extended workforce recruiting, vetting, work assignment, payments, and performance evaluations.
With WorkMarket Labor clouds, freelancers and contractors can be onboarded into public and private labor clouds using categories such as skills, location, experience, pay rates, and certifications. Contractors and freelancers are eligible for categorization once they have gone through the automated vetting process which includes background checks, drugs testing, ID verification, and suitability for the job, meaning only compliant and suitable freelancers will be considered. Additionally, employers can set specific rules and requirements for contracts such as work frequency and insurance details, so only those eligible will be visible for the position. For the duration of the employment contract, and during collaboration, employers can track the work of freelancers and contractors, collaborate in real time, and complete follow up evaluations.
Payment cycles and invoices are consolidated and can be processed using existing payment systems, or through integration with third party payment methods such as ACH deposit, credit card, wire transfer, and Paypal. With WorkMarket reports, employers can view data on total spend, market coverage, worker performance, and more.

I prefer to use the platform on the website and there it is possible to perform language and function tests, making it easier for companies to get noticed. The platform allows the user to confirm the professional experience and guarantees proven skills in our names.
Pros
It is a friendly and very interesting platform for freelancers. For her I was able to search for jobs easily and the most important thing is to know fluent English, without this the search is very limited.
Cons
The site is friendly and easy to find the options, however the app is extremely limited and the function of advancing the paid installments does not work.

Work market acts as a hub for freelancers and small field service companies, under a variety of categories can offer their services, including computer systems, transcribing, proofreading, and retail installation. Companies can use the FSM functions to source from these workers. Pick out those that work best for the project at hand, manage them during the project and pay them upon completion.
Work market can also integrate with currently use the software to keep info consistent from the beginning to the end of the process. Work market has pricing available upon request. Work market is available via all modern web browsers and also has a mobile app for both Android and iOS.

Worst experience Ive had in a while. When I asked for help on a solution they said, and I quote "To ensure your contractors are paid promptly, I encourage you to pay your workers internally" which has ZERO logic since their platform is what we were using to pay them in the first place. lol
Pros
Honestly seemed like a good company and a great platform but they are not knowledgeable on how they platform really works and they miss guide you due to that. they are part of ADP. and due to this huge error, they have lost me as a customer. will be moving all my business elsewhere.
Cons
the lack of knowledge on representatives. They miss guide you as long as you do what they want you to do. I deposited money on their acccount on a next day deposit, and after 2 days of them not having it, they said that it was going to be sent back to my account. Leaving my whole team without a paycheck on the day the were supposed to get paid. This goes without mentioning that i wanted to take more time on the initiation process so this wouldn't happen. They were very optimistic and convincing on everything going smooth and no issues would happen. Guess what? all issues happen... lol
DO NOT USE THIS TO PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES THEY DESERVE BETTER.

I have had several good experiences when getting a gig job through WorkMarket. The vendors pay on time, they give full and detailed instructions of the job, they contact you if you do a great job and it's just super easy to use!
Pros
I love that it's totally functional in helping to get a job, reporting, the ease of getting in contact with the vendors, replies, even using with an android phone.
Cons
That I have to contact them to change address in profile... Idon't understand that method but they must use it for some purpose.

WorkMarket was easy enough to use, provided limited features vs. some of the other software...
WorkMarket was easy enough to use, provided limited features vs. some of the other software available on the market for contracting workers with specialized skills. I would say if you have a limited budget, this would be a good starting app.
Pros
The ability to filter criteria as well as publishing work orders out to large groups is handy and easy to use.
Cons
When I used the software there was not a lot that ensured the technicians were who they claimed to be and there was not a background check requirement. Software itself was a little clunky and took a while to load if there were multiple filters as well
