As a monthly software-as-a-service, it is on the higher side.

Makes creating assessments available for small busienss owners with limited capital resources for softawre solutions

The UX is not ideal and does not allow you to customize the look and feel as much as other programs (Typeform for example is gorgeous and offers slick navigation espeically on mobiel). Also the limited number of assessments aviallbe per tier is prohibitive. I would use the tool more if the pricing was more amenable to a business of my size for this type of tool.

Also the backend of editign assesmnts and changing questisn is a bit clunky and we have had to rewrtie some asessments from scratch once we realized in tesing that it did not perform the way would like it to.

Having previously tried 3 other iterations from competitors only to get frustrated in either lack of useability, functionality or ease of use, I 'stumbled' across Assessment Generator.
At first, I was hesitant and rather sceptical, yet [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] quickly put me at ease.
The software does exactly what it claims to, and very well. It's relatively easy to use, there is plenty of help and advice available, and the customer services team are quick to respond and exceptional in the quality of service.
Overall I'm delighted with both the product and service and now looking for other ways I can make even more use of the tools available.

At first, I was a little uncertain as to how to set it up to do what I want. Some of the terms used to describe elements are not as straight forward as they could be. BUT, there are plenty of explainer tools available, and customer service is both quick to respond and thorough in support.

It has been made especially for people looking to automate some elements. of their screening and assessment processes. This is what we are using it for. I love how accessible and individualistic the support is. I do feel like the team try to get to know every client's needs!

Set up is taking a while as we get the hang of using the system (it is not as user-friendly as some market leaders), but I think it will improve and develop with our needs.

The ease of use, easy to custom to my needs and reporting

Editing requires going into the source which is hard for some of my team members not well-versed in programming. I personally don't mind it

I did a very deep analysis of a long list of potential tools when I selected Assessment Generator. They are by far the easiest to do multi-category scoring for a decently affordable price. The vast majority of tools couldn't do that or it required intense customization to make it work. Assessment Generator is built to do multi-category scoring and to pass the scores of those different categories to whatever other tools you want it to be integrated with. It makes it so easy and straightforward. It was also easy to get it integrated into a webpage, integrated through zapier to ActiveCampaign, and to match the look and feel to my website branding. Support has also been responsive.

There are definitely other platforms out there that are more slick and dynamic of a feel, like a Typeform type platform.

I was able to quickly and easily create two assessments to meet my needs. The questions are fully customizable.

I would like to customize the look more and create customized reports.

I love the ability to customize the detailed assessment results, to give clients exactly what I want them to see.

Maybe just a little bit dated, not as modern, but still works great.

Excellent software, especially for type assessments. It provides great ease of use for my clients. Plus, the company continues to upgrade the platform as technology evolves. Customer service is always responsive to my needs.

I can't turn off the scoring in a couple of my assessments that have no meaning to my clients. It creates a small level of confusion with them. That's because I use some type assessments that don't provide an immediate solution without my review and feedback.

I've used the Assessment Generator to create assessments for several different environments: an assessment of "future" thinking on technologies, an HR/Career Assessment of Burnout, and an assessment of "Time Focus." I like the flexibility of the creation process, particularly the ability to duplicate questions to preserve the options/format for answers. The main reason I originally tried AG was the ability to calculate responses into categories -- something I could not find or do with "survey
software.

I don't know exactly how to phrase this but I would like some better reporting options for graphs. I currently have at least one in my account and would really like to build another where there is a "scaling" of scores. Don't know if there is an easy or relatively easy way to do this but a score of "10" may be at the 50th percentile on one factor but at the 90th percentile on another. Something I would make use of . Definitely an advanced element for interpretation.

This is an easy-to-use resource to conduct assessments. It is excellent to use as a lead magnet. The pre-made templates can simply be customized and used right away. But what I love the most is the customer service. They will do everything to ensure that you succeed. Being a non techie, that's huge.

I would beef up the reporting sessions so you don't have to create a custom report.

When I was looking for an assessment tool, I wanted one that would allow me to create ‘types’ within my assessment, for example options for personality types and EQ categories. Only Assessment Generator was able to do this easily. Creating questions and question types was incredibly easy.

The inability to place the ‘legend’ after each question or to be able to label each category of score

It was extremely easy to get our custom assessments up and running. My business is built on the back on custom assessments, and our clients rave about the ease of use and the insight they receive from them. Without Assessment Generator, running our business would be much more difficult. I highly recommend Assessment Generator to any consulting, coaching, or training firm.

Overall, I love the software. The biggest change I would make would be to add more customization ability with the reporting. For some of our assessments, I have had a hard time getting the reports to customize exactly the way I want them.
