Great for checking out reviews- this is an advantage over indeed. Yes they have reviews too, but somehow in HR it has become a standard to check glassdoor reviews.
Pros
Again, we need to differ between glassdoor for employers, and for jobseekers. I use glassdoor when searching for a job, and found both the uploading process (cv etc.) and reviews very helpful. I read reviews as a standard procedure even when dealing with clients- I love people, and working with them, so an abundance of bad reviews is a bad sign- and I like to be prepared.
Cons
Nothing really comes to mind. I think it is great the way it is.

Glassdoor is a great tool when comparing companies; getting general information about jobs and positions; the app is modern and easy to use. Glassdoor is a rider in the field, but the main part (search results) is average; other platforms with less sophistication will perform better and produce higher quality results.

Cons
After signing up I receive many promotional emails, sometimes not relevant to my searches.
The app looks ver clutter with multiple featured job listings and services

This is the site that I used to check the industry salary rates of different companies. Users can give sensitive information like their salary, company environment, benefits and other job related data anonymously. This really update me about the insights of the other IT companies and I can make decision based on whether I'm inline with the current industry standards.
Cons
Some data accuracy is debatable and there is a problem on what content to trust.

Glassdoor is an amazing tool and has allowed me to see interview questions, salaries, or benefits offered for job positions prior to applying to postings, which can save a lot of time or awkwardness asking hiring managers.
Pros
A feature of Glassdoor I enjoy using is the Save button option. Users can save many jobs they are interested in their accounts. Glassdoor also has a great way of organizing different employer accounts, making it easy for users to search for companies and then read reviews, salaries, or benefits based on a specific organization.
Cons
I don't like how Glassdoor requires an account for users to use their service. In order to read specific reviews, users must write a review on a company they worked for previously, which is time-consuming and can be uncomfortable for those who do not want to share their work experience.

It gives elaborate data about the organization's structure, review, overview, salaries, past interviewer suggestions, and quick data which can be used before giving an interview to a company.
Easy to use and have many insights helps to go through the interview rounds and get it cleared.
Less expensive and user friendly on both the web-based and mobile platforms.
Pros
The most important part of Glassdoor is the Interview questions option, which helps the job seekers to know more about the company and its interview process. Keep you the updated information about the positions and opportunities available in the company.
Cons
Sometimes I see a few fake reviews and employees post reviews on frustration which brings a false impression on the company.
They don't have a resume search option in them, so that recruited can make use of it.
You can't make a connection with individuals to know more about the interview process.
It doesn't have an in-build application tracking system in it like some of its competitors.

Overall I could see that there is a monopoly of Glassdoor when reviewing a company anonymously. Hence, this platform is recommended by everyone who works in any organization to get the inside news and take appropriate future decisions.
Pros
1. This tool enables the public to know the inside view of the company which he has applied for or going to join soon.
2. Revealing review to the public is a great way to identify if the company is functioning in an employee-friendly way.
Cons
Whistleblowing can sometimes lead to consequences if the person has not anonymously reviewed his company which may impact his hard time if the person is the employer of the same company.

A must-use app for anything related to jobs starting from job applying and deciding to take up an offer or not.
Pros
The most I like about this software is the fact this software could be used to understand what jobs I could apply to and then I get to read interviews as which is the best part of glassdoor for me. Apart from this, the software gives an overview of the total pay(base, stocks, joining bonus etc.) given to a candidate which helps tremendously during salary negotiation if less salary is being provided for a person of a same job position, location and firm when compared to the salaries mentioned on glassdoor. Even market pay of a particular job profile could be gauged from this software as well.
Cons
The least I like about this is nothing to me actually as I truly love every aspect I explored in this app.
