uptain is an abandoned shopping cart recovery solution for eCommerce which helps businesses engage and retain customers in online shops using smart exit-intent popups and personalized emails. The uptain algorithm analyzes data about online shop visitors from different sources, and then segments this customer. Based on the segmentation, the customer receives either an exit-intent popup or an email after cart abandonment. The aim of the uptain algorithm is to minimize the annoyance factor, while simultaneously maximizing customer lifetime value.
uptain supports personalized content, cross-device tracking and customizable designs. Users can customize popups to match their website colors, font and communication type. Activation popups are mobile responsive, enabling users to reach even more customers via their mobile device. Intelligent service emails are sent automatically based on visitor behavior. Depending on the behavior, uptain decides whether to send customers individual vouchers, shopping cart reminders or automated assistance. Users can set their own conditions and corporate identity from the personal live dashboard. uptain offers a number of plugins with Magento, Wordpress, Shopware, and more.

Pros
Through Uptain, we were able to make more use of our marketing budget by turning more clients into consumers. The customized emails help create a better relation with the client and that helps a lot to reach solid goals.
Cons
Could have more features especially when it comes to customize the popups.

We we've been using uptain for some years now and always been happy with the service and technology. If you are considering to implement basket abandonment mails, exit intent overlays etc., I recommend to just talk to them.
Pros
uptain is easy and quick to implement and helps your eCommerce business to bring back lost leads. It's a young company that keeps innovating plus uptain is very customer focused.
