About Connection Card
Connection Card is a cloud-based church management solution, which assists churches and ministries of all sizes with attendance tracking and visitor database creation. Key features include bar code scanning, online payments, expense tracking, volunteer management, event registration, and scheduling.
The application helps church coordinators manage committees, plan service schedules, and send reminders via automated emails. With Connection Card, organizers can generate rosters to plan events, enroll participants and guests through online forms or kiosks, and process payments. Church councils can use the solution to create multiple groups for Bible study and Sunday school classes.
Connection Card enables account managers to track donations, process payrolls, and generate year-end financial statements for donors. The solution also lets administrators create employee profiles and record visitor details, such as date of attendance, associated division, and member classification within a centralized database. With its point-of-sale module, staff members can generate purchase orders, manage cash registers, and provide incentives to guests. Members can also use Connection Card’s self-service portal to update contact information, register for upcoming events, and manage balances.

Pros
We have been most impressed by the staff. They are very responsive, helpful and eager to hear about our needs and suggestions. They have implemented several changes and improvements from our feedback.
Cons
I don't have many complaints, they have been able to fix, improve or add all features that we have had trouble with. If I had to pick something that is still sometimes a problem, the app sometimes crashes and you have to reopen it.
The one thing that would make it a 100% complete system would be the music planning capabilities that Planning Center has with links to CCLI.

We absolutely would love to have a complete CCLI integration as well. Unfortunately, for over 8 years now, CCLI has shut their doors to any new integrations. We are continually hounding them for access to their API which other platforms were already using - as soon as they open this back up again, that'll be top priority on our list! :)

Pros
Love the breadth of features that has allowed us to reduce costs and improve communication. Use it for membership management, payroll, accounting, web management, online donations, department management, expense reimbursement, and reporting.
Cons
Need to keep an eye out for duplicate person accounts, but easy to merge the data.

We seldom use it because it's challenging to operate. While this platform offers extensive customization similar to an IBM PC, it's not as user-friendly as an Apple product.
Pros
Lower price and ways to customize if there are training material available.
Cons
More difficult to use and lack of customer support to use it effectively.

I know that our team worked quite extensively with you over a year ago to resolve some issues. All of your support requests and emails were answered in less than 2 hours. Some issues that you pointed out to us we fixed immediately. And we have not heard from you since.
We have offered to provide free training sessions over Zoom on a number of occasions, and we have tons of easily accessible training videos and help documents, on our website and on YouTube.
We certainly appreciate your feedback. We take all customer feedback seriously and we work hard to make sure that our platform is as easy to use as possible.

Customer Service and Customization of platform to suit our needs and goals.
Resolution to issues are timely and effective.
Cons
We're one of the first clients making requests for certain functions and so obviously we need to lead out to communicate the needs.
It does not offer email communication and analytic services/features compared to other business where that is the primary offering

I love how easy it is to use both as an administrator as well as for the people purchasing tickets for our shows.
Cons
I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like. Maybe just a few glitches here and there but they were always resolved VERY quickly!
