About SBN Suite

SBN Inspect is an inspection management software that helps you create customized checklists and forms to capture data and ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and other regulatory standards. It comes with a host of features such as recurring inspections, heat maps, a self-service portal, and automated notifications.

Organizations can use the built-in dashboard to assign inspection to teams, identify corrective actions, and track resolution time. SBN Inspect includes a content library which allows inspectors to conduct offline surveys using mobile devices. It offers a host of features such as recurring inspections, heat maps, a self-service portal, and more. Administrators can provide additional information and assistance to employees by adding instructions, help text, and images to tasks. Management can gain insights into employee performance, trends, and compliance via analytics reports which are available in CSV or PDF format.

Pros

-SBN Customer Service. If you have any recommendations or need information on improvements the SBN team will take it seriously.
-Ease of use. I was able to deploy the modules with non-safety colleagues and they can easily use the platform.
-Internal Data Metrics. This was being built out when I was using the platform and made it easier.
-Cross-functional. Having the apps and web-based solutions made it easier to engage non-employees in the system. SSO made the program easy to use.

Cons

-Nothing negative. The SBN Suite has updated in the last year or so since I have used it, so my comments may not be warranted. Data analytics was forming at the time and believe it has already been improved upon. It would be interesting to associate JHAs and Job tasks with building a process within a manufacturing unit. This would mirror some DoD tools, but the value would be able to generate a site risk register automatically.

I have been using SBN with my clients for the last 2 years. As an EHS professional who promotes leveraging technology, this has been a great solution for my clients wanting to conduct monthly inspections, do ergonomic self-assessments, track corrective actions, and do JHA's. The company is easy to work with and very responsive. They have also built out the product suite to my clients needs and specifications which is nice.

Pros

The inspection and JHA platform is great and easy to use. It is also very easy to manage users, locations, etc. My clients have enjoyed using this platform due to having the capability of doing SSO and tailoring it to their needs.

Cons

Not much negative feedback, but there is an opportunity to improve getting metrics/graphs/visuals from the data that is being put into the platform. Also it would be great to have a library of templates available to clients.

Pros

Software is easy to use and very modifiable.

Cons

Since we have a large number of inspections that are processed on a daily basis users see delays with speed (uploading, downloading, refreshing content, etc.).

I have been using SBN since the it first came out. Security on the system is top notch and have past all the scrutiny of a lot of IT teams.

Pros

It is a platform that is very customizable and the tech support that they provide are great. The fact that the subscription is base on records saved and not by the number of users is a game changer because it frees up the automatic notification feature and workflow.

Cons

It takes time to set the workflow up to just the way you like it. The UX is not the best.

As Director of Technology, I am involved with many software vendors so I have a good sense of what the average vendor experience is. SBN is a breath of fresh air for me. They have an excellent product, they are always open to hearing our needs, their customer service is the best of any vendor we use, and they have a true passion for what they do which is important to our company.

Pros

We have been using the SBN product suite for several years now. We could not be more happy with their products and service. SBN created a custom configuration for our company that addressed and fulfilled all of our specific needs. Onboarding was quick and efficient and the level of ongoing customer service they provide exceeds that of any other vendor we do business with. Their products are streamlined and intuitive which means our internal team enjoys using them. We saw a 50% time reduction in our inspection process and enjoyed improved consistency and quality after rolling out the SBN software. Before we found SBN we tried on several other solutions, but we were not happy with any of them. We have, and will continue to, recommend this software to any company that needs a superior inspection or inventory control solution.

Cons

I absolutely have no negative feedback for this company. I wish our other vendors were as good as SBN.
