Cognition Cockpit is a cloud-based requirements management software that helps medical device development and pharmaceutical organizations review, manage, and structure data for audits or regulatory submissions. It lets staff members configure documents, automatically update data, and securely access customer information from a unified platform.
With Cognition Cockpit, team members can create as well as connect asset libraries to predefined databases to align projects and eliminate data errors. Employees can access custom document templates and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) as well as work instructions (WIs). It also allows medical professionals to conduct searches, suggest changes, analyze results, and approve projects before implementation.
Cognition Cockpit enables staff members to customize projects by adding cover pages, watermarks, headers and footers, and export documents in Word or PDF formats. Overall experience is OK with Cognition Cockpit. Tool need lot of improvement from ease of use...
Overall experience is OK with Cognition Cockpit. Tool need lot of improvement from ease of use perspective and performance is also fine. Cognition has spent a lot of time adding cool features that supports cockpit customers when it comes to FDA audits, Risk Management and validation deliverable. Out of box reuse and customizable change management is best in market (where cockpit really beats other tools). At this time, Cognition team is making effort to improve their ease of use and hopefully we will see some good changes in upcoming version.
Pros
Cockpit is open architecture tool and highly configurable to meed organizations needs. It has variety of features and base structure of the tool supports almost all requirement management and risk management needs.
Cons
The pro is also con for Cockpit. Although Cockpit has potential to provide all encompassing solution that is somewhat similar to ALM tools available in market, however customer will need to figure it out by themselves. It would have been nice if Cockpit becomes modular instead of being one big baseline setup which needs further investigation for customization to match organizations processes.
