The programs are constantly improving and building to improve record keeping with an ease for the user. The platform requires minimal training, which saves a tremendous amount of time/effort in onboarding new staff. The accounting features have greatly improved our management.

Using the software the past year and a half, I have not run into any issues. A few questions which have been swiftly remedied/supported by their customer care team.

The different features such as expense tracking, invoicing, and printing off the reports.I like the ability to copy meals from one week to the next. This is good if you have alternating menus.

Since I have been using the software, it has helped me in my business. I currently do not have any cons.

I like the accounting software to keep track of my expenses. My problem is with the payment system and customer service.

I have been using the e-pay system for 4 weeks. It only worked twice. My invoices are sent out on Friday and my deposits reach the bank on Thursday. That is a long time in my opinion. I could deal with this if I actually got paid. My parents are set up for auto pay and I pay the transaction fee for them. This is the second time that the KidKare/Epay system had a "problem" and no auto payments went through so I did not get paid. With a holiday this week, I probably will not get paid until next Monday. This is unacceptable. I will be switching back to Brightwheel. They were never late, had a faster turnaroud time, and I never had an issue with getting paid. I was assured this is very rare but I don't believe that. And they make it out to be so easy to fix by parents sending checks or clicking autopay which takes time for all of us.

What I love most about this program is that i can keep track of all my business expenses. It’s makes filing my taxes so easy. It separates the expenses in the areas they need to be for doing taxes and it tallies up the total for you. I also love that I can make my menus on there and save them for future months.

My only con is I am unable to use it for my clients to sign in and out without them altering their times. So therefore I use a different system for that. Along with not being able to have a live feed for the parents to see how the children’s day are going.

It is easy to use and very helpful. I love that I put in my receipts and file them away. When tax time comes I just hit print on the forms I need and hand them to my tax guy and he does the rest. Stress-free.

I am not a huge fan of the parent pay portion. I send the invoice and it takes a full 7 days to post to my account. I would think with technology today that they could move this along much quicker. I only have one family that uses this feature because I don't pro-actively offer it due to the time it takes to post. It works great and is really nice to have and if it posted in 2-3 days I would probably request most if not all my parents to use this service.

Not much. I really can’t say too much good since they launched this program.

Two times right away the banking was messed up and I never got money deposited into our account on time even though they had it for over a week, it was taken from the parents acco7 to but not deposited into mine when it was supposed to. They have updated a few things lately but still not as friendly as minute menu. I wish they would have waited to launch until they got providers input bc there were a lot of nice things about MM that they could have and should have incorporated into KK. If there was a different program, I definitely would have cancelled KK. I have been a provider for 30 years and have always used the product, but this one is by far the worst one ever.

Easy to use, convenient, stores all kids that have been enrolled, report features are nice.

The main one for me in the invoicing. I do not send invoices to my parents or have any need to. I would love to have the option of just recording the payments. I hate creating invoices only to record a payment and the feature of reoccurring invoices is great if you receive the same amount from a parent every month which I don't

Pretty flexible and easy to use. Was helping look for options for childcare business needs and located this. Seems to fit needs well. Basic and easy to use, giving you time for the important things

If you need answers, dont expect to get them right away. Be patient. App can be buggy. Use same patience with software that is used for the kids

I refused to go online to do my reporting. I like a pen in my hand and a page to write on. Boy was I wrong. Once I was forced to join and ask myself "what took you so long to wise up." Reporting online is the best.

The time line constraints. Life happens. I usually report at the end of my day. One day towards the end of my day my father was taken to emergency with a small stroke, I called my backup, licensed helper and rushed down to the hospital. I got back home in the early hours of the next day. There has been a few similar situations that have come up and I was not able to report my day. I feel that there should be some arrangement where you could be given a grace period, for instance five times a year.

I like the ease of entering my expenses as well as all of my income. At the end of the year, I simply print the various reports for my tax man. I also print professional W-10s for the parents showing the income which they paid me.The computer program does the various calculations for me! This saves me time and effort, and hopefully money when it comes to our taxes.

There is a learning curve to best utilizing the program. Most is intuitive, but some is not. I did have a problem with the program entering AM when I was entering PM for a departure time. Hopefully we have that resolved now.

Ease of use for keeping up with menus and meals. I have several menus saved and it is very quick and easy to call them up and make my weekly plans. I also love the fact that I can use the app on my phone and can do it from there as well.

The invoicing section was very nonfunctional the last time I tried to use it. Kept sending out duplicate invoices or none at all. that was awhile ago, I just have not gotten the courage to try it again.

This program had a lot of potential. Sounded like it would have everything I needed since it had accounting and nutrition in the same program.

Invoice were randomly deleted and reinstalled, double payments, lost some report capabilities, customer service was hard to get ahold of and frequently unhelpful.

it keeps all my records in one place so I can easily look things up

i do not like the automated payment system. i don't like the way it takes so long for a payment to be credited to my account. the day of invoice is usually the due date. i give 5 days to allow payments to be processed. if my client misses the invoice for some reason they will be late with the payment due to the 5 days it takes to process.

Ease of use. Double checking my food forms with your reports and organizing my income and expenses. Also keeps food logs for CACFP.

Old program had daily forms that could go home to parents explaining what we did during the day and a short note about how the child was that day. This program lacks that and I miss it.

The accounting aspects user friendly at tax time.

I do NOT like that I do not receive Tuition for 5 days. There was supposed to be a quicker turn around time.

Easy tax prep. My tax preperor loves the forms that I print off with my tax info on them. I recommend this program!

Not user friendly. Just to put a child's picture with their profile took me a while to figure out. It took a parent a while on their side of the program as well.

I like that I am able to keep up with my childcare accounting in a professional easy to use manner

Not having access to lesson plans, certificates, and daily reports for my children as the previous Minute Menu provided these tools

I like the record keeping. It makes it much easier at tax time. The meals and times of children in and out makes documenting easier. The program easily tracks meals daily.

Sometimes it runs slow but that may be on our end. It seems to run slow on the last days of the month when people are submitting their claims. I have not really found anything that I really dislike on the program.

some things are hard for me to figure out, just me, but I can play with it to try and figure it out without ruining anything

Its very simple and easy to use software. Pricing is reasonable too. The app works well and doesn't require to enter login credentials each time. Its very convenient and time saving!

It can rearrange the list either alphabetically, or date of birth, or the created date. Can be made more user friendly. It often has technical issues and takes time to load. A couple of times caused error, which delayed the payment.

Being able to chart every thing in one place; food ,hours,and invoices. Great customer service.

Nothing everything was easy to learn when you don’t like working on computers.
