SND contributes to effective social media campaigns

Pros
SND is easy to use and incorporates all social platforms across all my properties, making one-time simultaneous posting a breeze. It also features all the metadata options I need to create an effective post. The main reason why I enjoy using SND is because the support staff is very responsive and thorough.
Cons
As with any program, there are sometimes bugs that hinder tasks. Over the years, however, I have not experienced a widespread, long-term outage.

I started using SND when I worked in government for a Township. When I moved over to my current position in Education, I knew I needed to continue using the product. It is the most user friendly of all the social media management tools, and I have used many. It is convenient, efficient, and helps to improve engagement. As a county-wide ISD, we need to connect with parents. Knowing when to post what critical. SND has allowed us to work smarter, not harder.
Pros
Social News Desk provides a "one stop shop" for all your social media accounts and platforms. As a social media management tool, you can quickly post, add photos and video.
Cons
Social News Desk has been so responsive to the user community that of course we want more. I would love to be able to post directly to the Nextdoor platform. I love that I can monitor the chatter on Nextdoor, but it would be helpful to post, as well. I also wished that I could tag partners and collaborators on LinkedIn, but I am positive it is coming in the near future.

Pros
The auto posting is the most valuable asset Social News Desk provides for me.
Cons
Not really a con, but I want Social News to look into connecting to Next Door, which my community uses a lot.

Pros
We use SND's AutoPilot feature across our many social accounts. This customizable feature lets our journalists focus on gathering the news.
Cons
I wish the permission settings were more customizable by top-end users so we could select which features various users can access.

Pros
Social News Desk is a great tool to use when publishing to several platforms. I've used SND at just about every phase of my career. From being a hands-on digital producer, social media manager, digital strategist and more.
Cons
The only issue I have with SND relies more on the social media companies.

It has been an overall positive experience with very few drawbacks from a product and support standpoint.
Pros
Social News Desk allows us to utilize a large portfolio of social media accounts to coordinate publishing, scheduling and analytics.
Cons
The biggest issue may be not having ease of access in the Post Manager feature for extremely large datasets while using the Social News Desk dashboard, but there are workarounds to get the necessary data.

Pros
SND makes it easy to ensure that important content is published even when I am unable to manually schedule. As a news organization, we need to be able to get breaking news out at the drop of a hat - and SMM’s don’t always have time to do that.
Cons
I have had some issues with link scrubbing. For older news stories that have been updated recently, SND sometimes pulls old images that are no longer relevant. This is a minor, fixable issue though.

Social News Desk Does It All

Pros
Social News Desk is very comprehensive. Almost all our social media functions are available within the platform. It has made user management and security turnkey, and the customer service is exceptional.
Cons
There are sometimes too many functions to keep track of within the dashboard, but recent efforts to improve the organization have been very helpful and well received.
