Zubie, also known as Zubie Business, is a cloud-enabled management and tracking solution for vehicle fleet-based business deployment, promising compatibility with cars, vans and light trucks. Priced per device, the product works off of a plug-and-play Zubie Key that adds wireless cellular connectivity via the OBDII port of each fleet vehicle. This promises always-on, 24/7 GPS tracking features that allows anything from 2 to 5000 vehicles to be located in real time from a live map on mobile devices or PCs. Users can monitor a vehicle's route, direction of travel and even detect when parked, while looking back at a year of trip histories and receiving place alerts for when geofenced locations are reached or departed. Zubie then ties driver performance into trip tracking by analyzing the data to improve efficiency in terms of route optimization, conserving fuel and improving general driver skills for greater safety compliance. Gamification then rates drivers to derive a Driver Score that can be compared within the fleet to foster a healthy competitiveness around more productive, safer driving while analytical reporting capabilities provide detailed performance insights. The Zubie Dashboard visualizes fleet-wide data to highlight trends and compare with other Zubie-equipped fleets, with reports sharable via email and trip histories exportable.
Zubie also includes the monitoring of vehicle health, tracking maintenance to customizable service schedules, flagging when checks are completed and compiling service diaries for each vehicle. Fuel levels can be monitored and alerted based on defined thresholds, before a Fuel Finder feature identifies the nearest and cheapest gas stations. Engine codes are deciphered to monitor health, battery voltage levels detected and all fleet vehicle diagnostic information made available to view on any platform.

Pros
I have enjoyed knowing how often my trucks are being used, how much gas we use, and where all of my employees are during the day.
Cons
Sometimes the software lags on the app. Trucks can easily have the zubie disconnected which causes problems.

This is my third year of Zubie...i have been patient when customer service "lost" my user ID and...
This is my third year of Zubie...i have been patient when customer service "lost" my user ID and canceled my account, the reports did not work in the beginning and C.service did them manually, and the Zubie emails used to be seen as spam...Of course my account was canceled again on 9/10/16 because the account settings did not charge the correct card. I also see that the reward for being a "loyal" Zubie customer is to pay full price for a service that potential new customers will get at a discount.

Pros
Nothing, it is a terrible system that is not user-friendly. Do not use!!!
Cons
There is no way to give certain access, like giving our warehouse manager access to alerts and maintenance records but not access to recordings. The customer service is terrible, takes forever for anyone to respond. They don't do any updates, the layout is extremely confusing. They lock you into a 3 year contract so you can't get out.

I am a small home improvement company with 3 vehicles. Zubie helps greatly by letting me have access to a data base and map to check time in and out of jobs, confirm truck and crew location. prevent unauthorized side trips and vehicle use. It greatly helps in job billing and eliminates many customer disputes with time and materials jobs.
Pros
Easy to set up. Easy to use. Anyone can do it. Both desktop and smart phone usable.
Cons
Sometimes the system is inactive and not current. But once it kicks back in, the database has the info.

Pros
I like being able to break down the trips into segments
Cons
I don't seem to be able to key in addresses that we commonly use, to set up "pins" for lack of a better term like "home" or "office", "supply house" etc. Also, I use to get push notifications when the vehicle was speeding, or hard brakes or when it started moving, I don't receive those anymore. I do share this program with other office members so it's possible someone turned that feature off.
