Cheddar Up makes it easy for group organizers to process payments and create custom forms online for free. No more spreadsheets or tracking down checks.
Groups and nonprofits use Cheddar Up to securely process payments for anything, such as donations, fundraisers, membership dues and fees, merchandise sales, group gifts, events, and more. Collect credit cards, eChecks, or cash and track all your payments in one place. Users can even use our integrated credit card reader to collect in-person payments too.

Key benefits of Cheddar Up
Cheddar Up is flexible enough to collect money for just about anything: Membership fees, HOA dues, tuition, spirit wear, troop dues, group gifts, after-school programs, events, fundraisers and beyond. It provides frictionless payments that lets community pay without ever downloading an app or creating an account. With instant tracking all payments and information are dynamically tracked with printable form responses at the ready.
Users can add questions, forms and waivers to easily collect related information alongside payment (e.g. t-shirt size, sign the waiver, etc.) It offers multiple payment methods and lets people choose how they want to pay - via credit card, echeck or cash/check. Point-of-Sale option to also accept in-person payments with our mobile app and Bluetooth card reader.
Share the collection page with a customizable URL, QR code or email invite. Create a custom landing page where you can feature any and all relevant collections. Customize your landing page with a banner, item images and descriptions. Customize E-mail Receipts to send payers a detailed email receipt. Offer the option of automatic, recurring payments—great for installments or monthly fees.Send follow-up messages to payers and visitors right from the platform.
Automatic and one-click email reminders to ensure payments are on time. Excel and pdf reports allow you to sort data, print forms and access reporting offline. Access an account-wide report with aggregated data across all of your collection pages. Limit item quantities and we will track inventory as items are purchased. Add item variations to sell and track multiple item sizes, colors, etc. Create codes to share with your community with a %-off or dollar-off discount. Keep your collection page exclusive by requiring an entry code to access it.
Make your collection page visible within a set timeframe by giving it a start and end time. Gather the names and emails of people who visit your page so you can follow up. Add managers who can access your account with their own unique login credentials. Decide each manager’s role in helping you collect payments for groups — set permissions to control what they can do and access. Decide and prioritize which collections to feature and organize them with categories.

An Excellent Payment Collection Tool for Groups

Pros
Easy for us to use and offers a simple, customizable payment page that we can use to collect money virtually. Also, a good feature is the automatic reminders to help ensure that payments are made on time, as well as tracking tools to help groups keep track of who has paid and who still needs to pay.
Cons
None so far. I haven't experienced bad using this platform.

Our hiking group needed a way to collect donations to cover our annual expenses and some swag items. Cheddar Up was perfect. No one had a problem donating, and we used all of the shares including a QR code, texting, and web link.

From Girl Scouts, our local high school, Elks Lodge, Little League, and work conferences. everything is super easy for me to run multiple events through several organizations. Yes, I have several different accounts with Cheddar Up. You can even read my testimonial on their website.

First, I have been using CheddarUp for years. They have listened to my concerns and recommendations on improvements, and for the most part, they did them. They have the BEST Customer Service Group.
Cons
I have one event that is quite complicated and I have to manually monitor it. I have several payment options and I wish it were smart enough to adjust the availability number as payments are selected.

Easiest to use site for collecting funds for a non-profit but not 501c3 event.
Cons
I had no issues with it. Easy to use and very happy with it.
Reasons for Switching to Cheddar Up
I actually investigated many more. Others were either too expensive or mostly too confusing. They also were set up only for profit or 501c3 organizations, and we are neither which made them impossible to use.Response from Cheddar Up
