I think it has been an important tool for us to schedule our content and understand how they are performing. It's annual report (a sum of all SM platforms performance) is absolutely amazing. A touch pricey, but highly recommended.
Pros
The ease of use. Very nice userflow. Impressive Dashboards. Easy to schedule and manage your content. Very nice analytics report. Their free educational resources are very helpful as well!
Cons
It is expensive. Also, one needs to reconnect the SM accounts as it tends to disconnect every now and then. Can't tag Instagram accounts while scheduling.

It's missing some features that would be helpful. It needs better integration with some platforms, like Instagram.

Pros
We used to like Hootsuite, it has a nice UI and UX but simply lacks features that we need to maintain our social media presence.
Cons
The cost of the software. So much software out there offers the same platform with more features for less.

I love Hootsuite. It has helped to improve my social media presence without actually wasting any time. I love that I can choose to publish one post on different platforms with Hootsuite. I am very happy and thankful.
Pros
I like that I can time schedule all the posts I want. Instead of going online and posting at that particular time, I can schedule when I want the post to go online.
Cons
Sometimes it gets connectivity issues. Other than that, I don't find any problem.
