RingEX is a unified communications solution that allows users to take and make business calls, voice messages, fax, and text messages anywhere. RingEX provides a comprehensive feature set that helps optimize business communications by turning BYOD (bring your own device to work) devices into company business phones, enabling users to manage the entire business phone system from their own desktop computer or smart device, from anywhere in the world. Users can add and switch users, manage extensions and groups, assign phones, and more.     RingCentral has integrated numerous modes of communication into a single app, each of which may be seen individually or together on a dashboard. The dashboard, in general, has been of great use to us in the conduct of our day-to-day business. Because of this added bonus, we have been able to get rid of all of our desk phones, which has freed up additional space on our workstations.

    Pros

    RingCentral MVP combines all of the fundamental requirements for effective communication into a single program that runs on your own computer. Within a single interface, I am able to monitor and respond to incoming phone calls, text messages, faxes, and instantaneous messages from other users.

    Cons

    The first transition from using a traditional desk phone to a desktop app is one of the drawbacks of RingCentral MVP. No matter where you take your laptop, you can now take your calls with you. Although getting acclimated to it takes a little bit of time, the experience has been positive in general.

    Ease of use and notifications so that I always know when a fax is received so that it may be distributed timely.

    Unable to add all accounts without logging out and back in.

    poor, Always had the issue of tying to get through to customer service and it was not a convenient...

    poor, Always had the issue of tying to get through to customer service and it was not a convenient experience. 1/2 hour to 1 hour hold time is not good for service.

    Pros

    Nothing that is outstanding, used a fax line for small business and it worked well, issue was the price increases. Year over Year they wanted me to pay $275 or so from 120 bucks. I did not think that was fair. Gave them an opportunity to lower price and they refused, hence the change to another company

    Cons

    getting through the customer service line for simple inquiries was impossible.

    Pros

    The digital aspect of the office phones. With the phone being connected to the computer, it is very reliable. The digital fax is also very convenient when having to send large faxes.

    It is inconvenient not having a local area code number.
